Tango Argentino & QiGong for the spine

Our instructors will be Diego Mastrangelo from Argentina and Evi Anesti from Greece for the Tango Argentino as well as Yannis for the morning QiGong for the spine.

Diego's and Evi's teaching style has very little to do with the so called "basic steps". Instead they focus on the essence of Tango and the feelings that can arise out of the traditional close embrace and the proper leading and following between the man and the woman. Our Travel and Do Tango Argentino program is mostly aiming to total beginners, but can be adapted to serve dancers with up to one year of experience as well.

Our seminar's structure permits beginners and slightly advanced students to happily co-exist in the same program, without one group being a burden to the other. See Flyer.

Summary of offered services
Included in the total price of 920 Euros per person in double room:

• Transfers from/to the local port or airport of Leros/Kos to/from our location on Leros
• Accommodation with Half Board (breakfast and dinner) in 4* Hotel
• One Tango show and one Tango-Dancing Evening (Milonga)
• About 8 hours of morning (always 07:30-08:30, before breakfast)
• QiGong exercises for the spine
• 2 Greek dancing evenings
• 1 multimedia presentation of the Greek Mythology
• 1 Greek language mini lesson
• 3 Greek movie nights

Not in price included, but booked and paid for on location at an extra cost:

• 4 cultural/sailing/diving/walking excursions, starting from +40 Euros per person
• Tango seminar: 8X2=16 hours of Tango teaching, usually 10:30-12:30 (for the advanced students 7X2=14 hours, usually 15:00-17:00) plus 7X2=14 hours of Tango common practice (Praktika), usually 17.30-19.30 Seminar's extra cost for beginners and advanced participants alike: +270 Euros  
• 1,5 h sessions of professional (healing) Thai massage, available every day: +60 Euros

Are you an advanced Tango dancer? For more than 3 couples of the same, more advanced dance level, we could add separate teaching hours to your schedule, so that you would share only the hours of Praktika with the beginners. For the advanced participants the focus will be on musicality, exploring themes like: Pauses, rhythm, phrases, melodies and humour of the music and how all these may be applied through improvisation to your unique dance style.
